JOB DETAILS: 

Position:
The Rwanda Program team designs and implements exciting high-impact mobile engagement projects with donors, NGOs and private companies. You’ll work under the supervision of the Country Manager and the Design and Implementation team and will be responsible for developing, managing and completing multiple small and complex projects at a time in a fast-paced and demanding environment. You’ll work with the team and independently to assure your projects are on track and our clients are satisfied.
Core responsibilities:
1. Partner Management

  • Be the primary point of contact for partners as determined by Viamo’s Country Manager
  • Provide close assistance to these partners for the effective use of Viamo’s services in the domains of health, agriculture, access to justice, financial education and more.
  • Monitor the implementation of the needs of these partners according to the project objectives.
  • Inform clients of new services and product improvements.
  • Solicit and document client feedback, including needs and expectations to inform the ongoing development of Viamo’s offerings.
    2. Design innovative mobile engagement projects
  • Provide input for the continued success of Viamo’s service offerings in Rwanda:
  • Advise clients to design successful applications and use cases for mobile engagement projects.
    3. Lead project Implementation
  • Help to establish work plans and deliverables for each project under supervision
  • Manage projets for clients using the Viamo software application.
  • Facilitate trainings as needed
  • Supervise qualitative and quantitative research and other field activities
    4. Data analysis and reporting
  • Unearth insights for our clients by analysing data and creating reports.
  • Document and share lessons learned and best practices from Rwanda with Viamo’s international team of program staff
    Requirements
    Essential skills and experience:
  • University degree, 2-5 years of demanding professional experience in a client-facing role, and demonstrable interest in the use of technology for development
  • Proven experience in multi-tasking and managing numerous complex small and large projects at one time.
  • Quantitative and analytical skills – experience with large data-sets and data analysis software a plus!
  • Technically proficient with software programs, and the desire to learn and embrace more.
  • Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda.
  • Proven ability to work independently, flexibility and willingness to adapt to new tasks as needed
  • Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness
    Desirable skills and experience:
  • Previous experience working with a Mobile Network Operator.
