Role Overview
An established provider of agricultural solutions is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the coordination and execution of commercial irrigation projects. The organization specializes in the sale and assembly of Centre Pivot irrigation systems for large-scale farming operations. This role is critical to ensuring that awarded projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead end-to-end project coordination for Centre Pivot irrigation installations
– Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution
– Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
– Monitor progress and proactively address any delays or technical issues
– Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
– Prepare regular status reports and updates for senior management
– Support business development efforts through technical input and client engagement
Qualifications & Experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Agriculture, Project Management, or a related field
– Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing technical or infrastructure projects
– Familiarity with irrigation systems, preferably Centre Pivot technology
– Strong organizational and leadership skills
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
– Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Attributes
– Experience working with commercial farmers or agribusiness clients
– Knowledge of the Zambian agricultural landscape and regulatory environment
– Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic project demands
– Technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
