About Kison Studio
Kison Studio is a fast-growing creative production company based in Northmead, Lusaka. We specialize in high-quality video and photography content, serving a wide range of clients. Everything we create is produced in-house — using our own team, equipment, and creative direction.
We’re looking for a dedicated and highly organized Project Manager to lead and coordinate our studio operations. This is a key role at the heart of our business — ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the full in-house production team, promoting collaboration and accountability.
- Plan and manage all operational activities, including production timelines, studio scheduling, and internal workflows.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order and ready for use on all projects.
- Implement the studio’s strategic goals and objectives, translating them into clear, actionable plans.
- Oversee day-to-day studio operations, ensuring smooth execution of tasks and timelines.
- Act as the on-site manager for video and photography shoots, handling logistics and crew coordination.
- Meet production and performance targets, delivering high-quality work on time and within scope.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and performance updates to shareholders.
- Develop and manage content creation for passive income, including stock footage or recurring digital content series.
- Use project management tools (e.g., Trello, Notion, Asana) to track progress, deadlines, and team responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in project or operations management in a creative, media, or production setting.
- Strong leadership and planning skills.
- Solid understanding of video and photography production processes.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and coordinating a team under tight deadlines.
- Passion for visual storytelling and a proactive approach to creative work.
