About the Renal Nurse Position

As a Renal Nurse at IHZ Fairview, you will play a critical role in managing patients with renal conditions, particularly those undergoing haemodialysis and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). Your expertise will ensure safe and effective dialysis treatment, while providing compassionate and patient-centred care.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Registered Nurse with a valid practising licence in Zambia
• Competence in operating and troubleshooting dialysis machines
• Sound knowledge of renal patient assessment, care planning, and management
• Ability to monitor patients during dialysis and promptly manage complications
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and a strong commitment to patient-centred care

Experience needed

• Proven experience in renal nursing and haemodialysis procedures
• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is essential

• Possession of a Critical Care Nursing Certificate is an added advantage
