JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:

CCZ is seeking for an experienced and skilled Resource Mobilization Officer to join our team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for leading our resource mobilization efforts, identifying
and pursuing funding opportunities, and building relationships with donors and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a resource mobilization strategy to achieve the organization’s funding goals
2. Research and identify potential donors
3. Develop and maintain relationships with donors and partners
4. Write and submit grant proposals, reports, and other funding applications
5. Manage and track donor relationships, proposals, and reports using a donor database
6. Collaborate with program staff to develop funding proposals and reports
7. Provide regular updates and analysis on funding trends and opportunities

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., international development, Business Studies, communications, project management
2. At least 3 years of experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or a related field
3. Proven track record of success in securing funding from diverse sources
4. Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a CCZ team
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Additional attributes

1. Experience working with international donors and partners
2. Knowledge of donor trends and priorities, donor and investment landscape
3. Familiarity with grant management software
