This position reports to the Quality Manager. Successful candidate will be responsible for the below duties.
Responsibilities
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished beverages.
- Collect and analyze samples using standardized laboratory procedures.
- Document inspection results and report non-conformities to supervisors.
- Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) protocols are followed.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with production, warehousing, and logistics teams to uphold quality throughout the supply chain.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quality Controller.
- Good process knowledge preferably in a bottling environment.
