In line with our operational, governance, and compliance objectives, the Company invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions:
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the Company meets its obligations in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) through effective implementation of SHEQ systems, statutory compliance, risk mitigation, and promotion of a strong safety culture.
KEY RESULT AREAS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key Result Area
Principal Accountabilities
Safety, Health & Environment
Implement SHEQ policies, conduct inspections, risk assessments, and coordinate emergency procedures.
Review environmental aspects and impacts and promotes sustainable practices.
Quality & Compliance
Oversee quality management systems, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and KML policies.
Maintain SHEQ files and registers and demonstrate a strong ESG understanding.
Training, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Conduct SHEQ training, investigate incidents, prepare statutory and management reports, and promote a proactive SHEQ culture.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Full Grade 12 Certificate
Diploma in SHEQ and Management Systems
Degree will be an added advantage
Minimum of 3 years' experience in mining operations
Valid Blasting Certificate and relevant professional membership
Ability to work under minimum supervision
Academic and professional qualifications verified by ECZ & ZAQA
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: associate degree
