Background

We are seeking a passionate and professional Safari Guide to join our team at our Safari Camp in the heart of Kafue National Park. This role offers the opportunity to deliver unforgettable safari experiences while contributing to conservation efforts in one of Africa’s most diverse ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct game drives and boat cruises, ensuring guest safety and enjoyment.
  • Share expert knowledge of wildlife, flora, and ecosystems, with a strong focus on the Kafue National Park.
  • Interpret and explain animal behaviour, tracking techniques, and conservation initiatives to guests.
  • Assist the Camp Supervisor with vehicle checks and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the camp team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Uphold all park regulations and safety protocols to protect guests and wildlife.
  • Support ongoing conservation projects as required.
  • Host and engage with guests in camp, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Candidate Profile

This position is ideal for a qualified Safari Guide who is:

  • A strong communicator and natural people person.
  • Deeply committed to wildlife conservation and guest satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

  • Recognised Safari Guide qualifications.
  • At least 3 years of guiding experience, preferably within the Kafue ecosystem.
  • Valid clean driving licence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional attitude.

Additional Information

  • Work Hours: 8 per day.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
  • Candidates preferably from Mumbwa or TBZ
