About the Role
ZamHarvest is seeking dynamic and customer-oriented Sales Assistants with a background in Agriculture or Marketing to join our growing team. This position is well-suited for individuals who are passionate about agribusiness and skilled in building strong relationships with farmers, retailers, and community partners.
As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in promoting and selling poultry feed and day-old chicks, ensuring excellent customer service while contributing to the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell poultry feed and chicks to both walk-in and outreach customers
- Provide product education and technical support to farmers and retailers
- Maintain accurate sales records and assist with inventory management
- Build and nurture long-term customer relationships through regular follow-ups
- Support marketing campaigns and community engagement initiatives
- Monitor market trends and provide feedback to enhance product offerings
- Ensure proper handling and presentation of chicks and feed stock
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of poultry nutrition and chick management
- Previous sales experience in agribusiness will be an added advantage
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Proficiency in record-keeping and basic digital tools (e.g., Excel, WhatsApp Business)
