JOB SUMMARY

Liberty Credit is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented, and experienced Sales Lead to lead branch operations, drive business growth, manage the loan portfolio, oversee collections, and ensure branch profitability. The successful candidate will be responsible for customer acquisition, sales and marketing initiatives, portfolio growth, corporate relationship management, collections management, team leadership, and overall branch performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual business targets.
  • Identify, engage, and convert potential customers for loan products and services.
  • Develop and implement branch sales and business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
  • Generate and manage a strong sales pipeline and drive consistent business growth.
  • Drive growth of the payroll loan portfolio through employer engagement and relationship management.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with companies, institutions, and strategic partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, HR departments, and key decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute branch marketing campaigns including roadshows, activations, exhibitions, and community outreach programs.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor loan portfolio performance and implement strategies to improve portfolio quality and reduce delinquency.
  • Oversee collections and recovery activities to ensure timely loan repayments and achievement of collection targets.
  • Guide customers through the loan application process and ensure complete and accurate documentation.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of client inquiries, complaints, and concerns.
  • Set performance targets for the sales team and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Monitor branch productivity, operational efficiency, and cost control initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales, portfolio, and performance reports to Management.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and branch business plans.
  • Safeguard company assets and maintain accurate branch records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and customer service excellence.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in sales, business development, branch management, or relationship management within financial services, microfinance, banking, or lending institutions.
  • Proven experience in payroll lending and corporate relationship management.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing MOUs or corporate partnerships.
  • Experience leading and managing sales teams.
