This full-time role offers a unique chance to contribute to the successful setup, rollout, and ongoing management of a business aligned with Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) requirements, commercial objectives, and outstanding client service standards.

About the Sales Manager Role in Lusaka

Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the Sales Manager will spearhead the sales function to drive growth and client adoption within Zambia’s fiscalisation market. This role requires a hands-on leader who can deliver strategic sales execution, maintain accurate reporting, and provide strong operational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement go-to-market sales strategies tailored for the Zambian market.
  • Lead complex enterprise negotiations to secure new business.
  • Manage relationships with partners and resellers to expand market reach.
  • Set realistic sales quotas and closely monitor pipeline performance.
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers to enhance customer retention efforts.
  • Support market launch activities including CRM pipeline management, product demonstrations, proposal follow-ups, and client conversion.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, preferably within ICT, software, fintech, or fiscalisation sectors.
  • Expertise in solution selling and strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Excellent proposal writing and communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Zambian business environment and ZRA fiscalisation requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, ICT, or related disciplines.
  • At least five years of B2B sales experience, with preference for candidates familiar with ICT, software, ERP, POS, SaaS, fintech, or regulated technology solutions.

  • Demonstrates strong professional integrity and thrives in regulated client environments.
  • Excellent communicator with meticulous follow-through and documentation skills.
  • Effective collaborator across sales, accounts, technical support, development, and management teams.

  • Commercially driven with the capability to build and sustain strong client relationships within Zambia.
