About the role:
Our Client is in the Telcoms and Construction industry and they are looking for a Sales & Admin Officer to join their team. The Sales and Administrative Officer plays a crucial role in supporting sales operations and administrative functions within the organization. This position involves assisting the sales team with customer inquiries, order processing, and sales documentation, as well as providing administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team in responding to customer inquiries, providing product information, and processing sales orders.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, including orders, invoices, and payments, using CRM or sales management software.
- Coordinate with internal departments, such as logistics and finance, to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolution of customer issues.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to track sales activities and support decision-making.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with products or services and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Assist in developing and implementing customer retention strategies to enhance customer loyalty and maximize repeat business.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, and preparing sales presentations and materials.
- Manage and maintain sales documentation and files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
- Assist in preparing and updating sales and marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Handle general office administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing office supplies and equipment.
Data Management and Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for sales growth and optimization.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales performance, market analysis, and competitor activity for management review.
- Assist in developing sales forecasts and budgets based on historical data, market trends, and business objectives.
Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and customers to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to streamline processes, resolve issues, and improve overall business efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to facilitate information sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Commerce, or related fields.
- 1‑3 years in a relevant role (sales, administration, customer service, or combined) is required
- Good organisational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills (both written & verbal).
- Computer literacy (MS Office at least: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
