Introduction
Gateway to Better Living Nursing School (GBL), a reputable Nursing college located in Monze Southern province of Zambia invites qualified and interested candidates to apply for the position of School Manager. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and operational management of the nursing school, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing education and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of the nursing school.
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate academic and clinical training programs.
- Supervise and support teaching and administrative staff.
- Ensure compliance with nursing education regulations, policies, and accreditation requirements.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, and operational objectives.
- Promote quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate student admissions, progression, and graduation processes.
- Foster partnerships with clinical training sites and relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit institutional reports as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse with a valid practicing certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing as a minimum qualification (Any nursing related specialty or Master’s Degree in Nursing or Midwifery is an added advantage).
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of nursing education standards and regulatory requirements.
- Atleast 5 years nursing teaching experience at a university or college with some experience in nursing college management
- All academic qualifications must be certified and validated by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
