1. SENIOR AUTO ELECTRICIAN *2

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems on heavy-duty and light-duty machinery.

Interpret and work with advanced electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.

Provide technical guidance and support to auto electricians and maintenance staff.

Ensure strict adherence to safety standards when working with electrical systems and heavy equipment.

Participate in risk assessments and implement effective safety measures.

Collaborate with supervisors, mechanical and instrumentation teams, and production personnel to support smooth plant operations.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Craft in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in industrial electrical maintenance (experience in the sugar industry is an added advantage).

Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).
