JOB DETAILS:
m2m seeks a Senior Human Resources Officer for the PACT-led USAID ZIH program in Zambia. The Senior HR Officer is responsible for supporting field operations in the three project provinces, managing HR related business matters specific to Mentor Mother Model implementation in facilities and communities, as well as other project HR needs. This includes employee relations’ issues, recruitment, performance management, HR policy and procedure interpretation, and employment law practices. This position will also be responsible for basic finance and administration related to Mentor Mother Model implementation. In addition, the role requires the SHRO to train Mentor Mothers in HR aspects during PST and placement of MMs in the sites and subsequent support to the provincial PMTCT Coordinators during supervision visits. The position is contingent on funding

Qualifications and Experience:
• Higher diploma in HRM/ B-degree is advantageous, preferably in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• At least 3 – 4 years’ experience as a human resources generalist in Zambia, preferably 2 years’ experience in an NGO environment.
