Senior Inspections & Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities

The key functions of the role will include but not limited to;

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise inspections across portfolios.
  • Review employer compliance reports and inspection findings.
  • Lead investigations into non-compliant entities and prepare enforcement recommendations.
  • Update and mentor inspection officers.
  • Develop risk-based inspection strategies aligned with annual compliance plans.
  • Coordinate with the Legal and Finance Department on enforcement follow-ups (e.g. time-to-pay agreements).
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly inspection reports for senior management.
  • Ensure inspections are conducted in line with policy, SOPs, and legal frameworks.
  • Represent the organization in multi-agency enforcement operations.
  • Maintain and update the inspection database and dashboards.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, business related courses, law, or a related field.
  • A professional certification (Prosecutions, etc.) an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, at least 3 in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Knowledge of Social Security and regulatory compliance frameworks.
