Position Overview:
• As the Operations Manager for Africa at Falcon Gas, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our operations across the continent. This position demands a highly skilled and experienced individual who can oversee the financial and operational aspects of our LPG and fuel business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Leadership: Lead and manage all operational aspects of Falcon Gas in Africa, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, financial reports, and cost-control measures to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee the supply chain, including procurement, distribution, and inventory management, to maintain product availability and optimize logistics.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations related to the LPG and fuel industry. Prioritize safety throughout all operations.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic plans that drive business growth and market expansion.
• Vendor and Partner Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners to enhance the company’s competitive position.
• Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities to guide decision-making.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience, preferably in the LPG, gas, or fuel industry.
• Financial management experience and a strong understanding of financial principles.
• Proven track record of successful operations management, ideally in a multinational setting.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of African markets and business culture is advantageous.
• Willingness to relocate to Sandton, South Africa.
• Expat status is preferred.
