JOB DETAILS:
Job Statement
Build and maintain active long-term relationship with key decision makers at customer site level and continuously promote Metso’s value adding offering. Create a healthy business with high customer satisfaction with the site accounts.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
• Responsible to deliver improved customer satisfaction levels by providing process support on customer sites.
• Support customers with areas of improvement and optimizations on their plants.
• Responsibility to create the relationship with the key people at the site and share leads with the organization, connecting key interfaces.
• Walk customer plants and generate leads to take forward
• Focuses on after-market business yet is able to identify the investment/capex opportunities and is responsible to convey the customer requirement to capex sales.
• Plans and has full visibility to the activities of any Metso function at the site.
• Seeks and coordinates for best resources and channels to be used for customer facing activities.
• Understands customer business and is capable to argue Metso’s added value.
• Drives site sales activities together with cross organizational site account team and understands customer’s capex and opex related decisions and buying timetable.
• Drives account planning and implementation (strategy, relationship, site level budgeting, activity plan, sales roadmap and plan).
• Maintains and shares information of installed base, performance and shutdown schedules and plan.
• Orchestrates Customer satisfaction surveys and closed loop activities and ensures continuous improvement activities.
• Supports Accounts Receivable and payment collections.
• Active member of the MA Key Account/Global Key Account team I/A

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelors’ Degree or BTech – Chemical / Process Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working on concentrator plants as a Plant metallurgist
• Sales or Account Management skills will be advantageous
• Be able to speak Mandarin
• Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment
• Computer literate in Sales Force, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust
• Strong communication skills and a serving leader

Skills And Abilities
• Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions
• Good interpersonal, communication, presentation & facilitation skills
• Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team Player.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills are critical
• Prepared to work flexible work hours to meet deadlines when required
• Travelling into Africa will be a requirement
• Willingness to learn and continually improve own knowledge base
• Driven and independent self-starter focused on meeting or exceeding targets set
• Ability to manage own time
