Job Purpose

To manage and control all inventory at the site, ensuring accurate stock records, proper storage, timely issuance of materials, and compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in inventory / stores management
• Experience working on construction project sites is an advantage
• Knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Excel

• Maintain accurate records of all stock received, issued, and stored at site
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excess stock
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against delivery notes and purchase orders
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials
• Issue materials to site staff only with approved requisitions
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records
• Investigate and report any stock variances, damages, or losses
• Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures
• Coordinate with procurement, and accounts departments
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections
• Ensure site stores are clean, safe, and well organized
