Client: Road Development Agency
Country: Zambia
Sociologist (Supervision – 10 Man-Months)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences. Postgraduate qualifications are considered an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of ten years of experience in conducting and implementing social impact assessments and management plans, including resettlement action plans, in infrastructure or construction projects.
- Must have conducted social assessments for at least five similar projects and should ideally possess knowledge of Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA), and labor influx issues in relation to linear infrastructure projects within the last ten years.
- A minimum of three years of work experience in Sub-Saharan Africa is required.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.
