Key Responsibilities
- Support application deployment and manage software rollouts across environments.
- Administer and maintain servers, ensuring performance, updates, and security (including SSL and integrations).
- Manage configuration files for development, staging, and production environments.
- Provide support for databases, including applying updates and assisting with backups and recovery.
- Configure domains, DNS settings, and maintain email services and authentication.
- Respond to support requests and assist end-users with access, setup, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand technical requirements.
- Investigate and resolve software, system, and network-related issues.
- Liaise with third-party vendors or service providers when required
Qualifications and Requirements
- A strong foundation in ICT, software support, or system administration, ideally suited for a recent IT graduate with practical exposure to professional environments.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and experience with DBMS; ability to write basic SQL.
- Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, Python, and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, or FastAPI.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, and web server environments (e.g., IIS).
- Experience with virtualization, deployment environments, and cloud/server infrastructure.
- Proficient in Git version control, including branching and pull requests.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across systems, applications, and networks.
