Receiving & Verification

— Receive deliveries, check items against purchase orders, verify quantities and quality, and report discrepancies.

Stock Management

— Accurately record stock movements, update bin cards/Odoo entries, and maintain proper stock levels.

Storage & Organization

— Arrange items systematically, ensure proper labeling, and maintain clean, safe, and accessible storage areas.

Issuing of Stock

— Issue items to departments based on approved requisitions and ensure correct documentation.

Stock Rotation

— Apply FIFO/FEFO principles to minimize waste and prevent expiry.

Inventory Control

— Participate in monthly and quarterly stock counts; assist in reconciling variances.

Documentation & Reporting

— Maintain accurate records, file delivery notes, and support preparation of stock reports.

Compliance & Safety

— Adhere to hospital policies, procurement procedures, and health and safety standards.

General Support

— Assist the Stores Officer with any other duties to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Key Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good numerical and record‑keeping skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance
  • Basic computer skills (Odoo experience is an added advantage)
  • Good communication and teamwork
  • Physical ability to lift and move stock items
