About the Role – Storekeeper Jobs in Kitwe
As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for the accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of materials within the warehouse. Your role will be critical in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting ERP transactions, and upholding high standards of warehouse organization and safety in line with the Epiroc Way. This full-time position is based onsite in Kitwe, Copperbelt Province, Zambia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receiving, inspection, storage, and dispatch of materials, ensuring accuracy and timely ERP processing.
- Maintain inventory control through regular stock counts, returns processing, and scrapping activities.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, proper labelling, and compliance with 5S methodology, health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and support daily inbound, outbound, and stock control operations to promote teamwork and operational excellence.
Candidate Profile
We welcome recent graduates who hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mining, or a related discipline. While no formal work experience is required, internships or attachments are advantageous. Exposure to mining, industrial, or heavy equipment environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership potential through academic, extracurricular, or community involvement.
- Willingness to travel and work in diverse locations, including mine sites if necessary.
- Basic technical knowledge relevant to mechanical, electrical, or mining fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
