To supervise all rock breaker maintenance and repair activities on site, ensuring equipment reliability, safe work execution, and high-quality service delivery in accordance with contractual obligations, Normet standards, and client requirements. The role is responsible for leading maintenance personnel, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring maximum equipment availability while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities or duties
Operational Management
- Supervise the daily maintenance, repair, and inspection of hydraulic rock breakers and associated hydraulic systems.
- Plan and allocate work to fitters and technicians to achieve maintenance targets.
- Ensure all scheduled preventative maintenance is completed on time.
- Coordinate breakdown response activities to minimise equipment downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring failures for corrective action.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with Normet specifications and client procedures.
