Supply and Delivery of bags of HEPS (High Protein Energy) tender at Zambia Red Cross Society

The Zambia Red Cross Society has launched an Acute Crisis Project to support vulnerable families affected by droughts linked to climate change in Gwembe and Siavonga Districts; hence, this request for quotation is to acquire 1000 25 kg bags of HEPS (High Energy Protein).

Bidders must strictly adhere to all the requirements of this RFP and sign the bidders’ submission register at the reception, clearly indicating the company name and details of the company representative. Kindly note that bidders who will not appear on the bidders’ register will be disqualified. Any changes, substitutions, or other alterations to the rules and provisions stipulated in this RFP may be made or assumed unless they are instructed or approved in writing by the ZRCS in the form of supplemental information to the RFP. Any bid submitted will be regarded as an offer by the bidder and does not constitute or imply the acceptance of any bid by the ZRCS. The ZRCS is under no obligation to award a contract to any bidder because of this RFP.

Eligibility

The bidder shall be domiciled and licensed to do such jobs in Zambia as specified in the tender and shall furnish a copy of its valid license. The bidder shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices.

The bidder shall prepare an original and two copies, clearly marking each “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” as appropriate. In the event of any discrepancy between them, the original shall prevail. Duplicate copies of BIDS shall be in separate sealed envelopes marked as ORIGINAL and COPY. These should also include both technical and financial proposals.

The original and copy or copies of the bid shall be typed or written in indelible ink and shall be signed by the bidder or a person or persons duly authorized to bind the bidder to the contract.

Any interlineations or erasures should be avoided during rate filling by the bidder, or overwriting shall be valid only if they are initiated by the person or persons signing the bid.

The bidder is required to initial and sign each page of the tender documents. Any appendices to the tender must also be signed by the bidder. Failure to complete and sign any of these forms may invalidate the bid.

Bids shall remain valid for 90 calendar days after the date of bid opening prescribed by ZRCS. A bid valid for a shorter period may be rejected by ZRCS as non-responsive.

A Signed Bid Declaration
Company Profile
Registration from relevant institutions, Certificate from Pacra, all applicable Medical and Zamsa certification
Evidence of similar past or completed works in the last one year.
Tax Clearance Certificates
Financial Statement for the past three months
Product Specifications
Financial Proposal to include schedule of payment

The proposal must be dropped off in a tender box at Zambia Red Cross Society HQ Reception in a sealed envelope, clearly mentioning the sender, receiver, and contact details.

Offers sent by email/fax will be disqualified (IMPORTANT)
All late offers will not be considered (IMPORTANT)
