Sinomine Kitumba minerals would like to inform the general public through the Mumbwa Town Council that it will Conduct physical tests for Machine Operator Positions at Kitumba Mine on the selected days which is Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
TLB Operator
Job Summary
The TLB Operator will safely operate a Tractor-Loader-Backhoe (TLB) for excavation, loading, trenching, backfilling, material handling, and general site support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate TLB equipment safely and efficiently.
- Carry out excavation, trenching, loading, and backfilling activities.
- Assist with road maintenance and general mine-site works.
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections.
- Check fluid levels, tyres, attachments, and other equipment components.
- Report equipment defects and maintenance requirements.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and site operating procedures.
- Maintain safe working distances from personnel and other machinery.
- Keep the machine clean and in good operating condition.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience operating a TLB, preferably in mining or construction.
- Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Good understanding of machine safety and workplace procedures.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a mining environment.
- Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: high school
