We are urgently hiring:

Responsibilities or duties

• Off-Road Haulage: Transport excavated material, rock, sand, or gravel from the excavation face to designated dumping zones, stockpiles, or off-site tipping locations.
• Payload Management: Ensure the truck is not overloaded beyond legal weight limits and that material is evenly distributed in the tray for safe cornering.
• Dumping Protocol: Safely raise and lower the tipper bed on level ground only, ensuring the overhead clearance is clear of power lines and the rear-dumping zone is free of personnel.
• Traffic & Road Safety: Adhere strictly to site speed limits and traffic management plans; use reversing cameras/alarms and banksmen/spotters when backing up to excavators or edge of dumps.
• Tarping/Sheeting: Secure and cover loads with tarpaulins when transporting material on public highways to prevent spillage and comply with road regulations.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

1. Must have C or CE Driver’s licence with 2 years experience (Tipper Drivers)

2. A minimum of 5 years of work experience

3. Relevant operator certificates

4. Must be diligent

5. Able to follow site regulations and perform daily basic machine inspection.

Experience needed

2 years experience for Tipper Drivers, and a minimum of 5 years of work experience overall.

Open tests will be conducted at 14:00 from 17th - 19th July at the company premises in Minambe Area, Mufulira, next to ZNS checkpoint along Mokambo Road.
