JOB DETAILS:
1.0 Job Purpose
• To manage Company fleet in order to facilitate Company operations and achieve set objectives.

2.0 Job Accountabilities
• Supervises effectively the implementation of the transport poiicyin order to ensure optimum utilization of vehicles and other equipment.
• Manages effectively Company fleet of vehicles to ensure optimal and productive usage.
• Facilitates timely the maintenance of Company vehicles and other equipment in order to ensure their normal operation and prolonged lifespan.
• Facilitates timely preparation of accident reports claims ensure repairs are effected.
• Ensures timely the licensing and insurance of motor vehicles in order to comply with statutory regulations and safeguard Company fleet and equipment.
• Effectively undertakes the examination and testing of drivers in order to assess their competence and facilitate issuance of permits to drive Company vehicles.
• Supervises and undertakes timely the preparation of motor vehicle replacement plans in order to facilitate decision making.
• Undertakes timely implementation of performance management system in order to monitor and evaluate performance and ensure attainment of Company objectives.
• Effectively supervise the utilization of human, financial and material resources in order to ensure attainment of objectives.

3.0 Qualifications and Experience
• Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate;
• Degree in Transport and Logistics or equivalent;
• Must be a member of the Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport; and
• At least five (05) years work experience

4.0 Skills, Knowledge and Other Attributes
• Problem solving and analytical skills;
• Ability to cope with high levels of responsibility and with confidential matters and of high integrity;
• Must be assertive, high ethical standards, respectful and collaborative;
• Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail; and
• Excellent interpersonal communication at all levels (verbal and written)
