As part of its strategic growth and inclusion agenda, in collaboration with other stakeholders Malu Capital will be introducing Village Banking services and will need the following vacancies to be filled:
Treasury Administrator – Village Banking
Reports To: Head of Finance
Job Purpose
To manage the day-to-day treasury operations of the Village Banking program, ensuring proper liquidity management and accurate records, and compliance with financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash flows related to loan disbursements, repayments, and group savings.
- Maintain accurate treasury records, cashbooks, and reconciliation statements.
- Monitor liquidity levels and ensure availability of funds for operations.
- Support preparation of financial reports related to Village Banking funds.
- Enforce financial controls and treasury policies.
- Coordinate with banks and mobile money service providers.
- Safeguard funds and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Report irregularities or group risks to management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related field.
- At least 1 years’ experience in treasury, accounting, or financial management.
Key Competencies and Skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
