JOB DETAILS:

Background

We are looking for a qualified, experienced, and highly motivated Underground Safety Officer to join our mining operations team.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment underground while ensuring compliance with company safety standards and mining regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Valid Blasting License or Mining-related certification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in underground mining safety operations.
• Knowledge of mining safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in remote mining environments.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: professional certificate
