Job Description:
The Underwriting Clerk supports the Underwriting and Claims departments at branch level by issuing cover notes, policy documents, receipts and payment plans, managing debtors through weekly tracking and reporting, generating income through marketing and following up on sales leads, issuing repair orders and loss agreement forms, and overseeing office administration functions such as petty cash, trading licenses, pool vehicle maintenance, file management, banking, and maintaining office cleanliness.
Minimum Qualification:
Applicants must hold a Grade 12 certificate with at least five O’ levels, including Mathematics and English, a Certificate or Diploma in Insurance or a related Business field, and a minimum of two years’ relevant experience in the insurance or business sector.
