The Key Purpose of this role is to provide for the efficient supply of all utilities to the production departments within the Brewery.

Key Attributes and Competencies:

  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills
  • Articulate & conceptual skills
  • Accurate, decisiveness and persuasiveness
  • People handling and leadership skills
  • Apply analytical thinking to problem solving
  • Effective verbal and written communicationAbility to write concise technical and engineering reports.
  • Knowledge of Refrigeration Plant, Steam Plant, Air Plant and CO2 Plant is essential
  • Experience in managing people and leading a team
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and build capacity

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/ Electro-Mechanical)
  • Category A&B Ammonia competence certificate will be advantageous
  • 12 months on the job training (Minimum)
  • Additional business qualification (Desirable)
  • GCC factories will be an advantageous
  • Maintain safe healthy and risk free working environment
  • Ensure safety, healthy & environmental legislation compliance
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
  • Manage Human Resources
  • Develop employees
  • Ensure a healthy industrial relations climate
  • Manage and apply personnel practices
  • Ensure manufacturing systems and instrumentation integrity
  • Maintain system integrity and change control
  • Maintain and calibrate site instrumentation
  • Ensure engineering standards compliance
  • Ensure application documented standards
  • Develop and update engineering standards through hub technical
  • Lead asset care strategy as per VPO
  • Optimise use of planned maintenance system
  • Apply formal failure analysis process
  • Apply relevant engineering spares strategy
  • Manage small site projects
  • Project completion on time and in budget
  • Manage financial performance
  • Manage budgeting process
  • Control departmental costs
  • Review financial results
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills
