JOB DETAILS:
African Agrovet Zambia Limited is a veterinary medicine importer and operating nationwide. We are seeking applications from suitable qualified persons for the following position.
Veterinary Doctor – 01 Position
Minimum Qualification: Degree in Veterinary Medicine registered with Veterinary Association of Zambia

Duties:
• Advise animal owners on the health and general care of animals.
• Provide preventative medical and clinical care to animals.
• Carry out periodic activities, such as immunization, health and hygiene checks.
• Perform routine procedures.
• Prescribe necessary medications.
• Treat diseases and injuries.
• Examine pets and large animals.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree;
• 6+ years’ experience as a veterinarian;
• Knowledge of animal behavior;
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking skills.

Employment type: Permanent contract
Region: Central – Copperbelt – Eastern – Luapula – Lusaka – Northern – North-Western – Southern – Western
Spoken language: Fluent in English, Bemba and Nyanja
