Inerun Zambia is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Website Developer to join our team in a permanent, on-site role. We need a professional who can translate design concepts into high-performing, functional websites and take full ownership of our digital platforms.

Probation Period: 3 Months

Reporting to: Sales Director

Requirement: Must have your own functional laptop.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive websites and web applications.
• Ensure websites are cross-browser compatible and mobile-friendly.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to implement UI/UX designs that drive conversions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing website features.
• Manage website hosting environments and perform regular security updates.
• Provide regular technical reports and updates to the Sales Director.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Front-End Development: Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS).
• UI/UX Implementation: Ability to convert design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive web pages.
• CMS Expertise: Strong experience with WordPress (custom themes/plugins), Shopify, or similar platforms.
• Backend Knowledge: Familiarity with PHP, Python, or Node.js and database management (MySQL).
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git/GitHub.
• Portfolio: A proven track record with a portfolio of live websites you have developed.
• Hardware: Possession of a high-performance laptop suitable for development work.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under the direction of the Sales Director.
