About the Role

Ukani Construction and Engineering Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our growing team. You will be responsible for performing structural and pipeline welding on active construction sites, ensuring strong, precise joins on steel and metal frameworks across commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding on structural steel and metal components
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
• Inspect and prepare surfaces prior to welding
• Carry out quality checks on completed welds
• Adhere strictly to site safety protocols and PPE requirements
• Collaborate with site supervisors and the broader construction team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of proven welding experience
• Relevant trade certificate or qualification
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
