Varun Beverages Zambia Ltd a leading Beverage manufacturing company situated at plot No. 37426, Mungwi Road in Heavy Industrial Area, Lusaka is URGENTLY looking to recruit suitably qualified individual to fill the position of the Welder

Department: Utility and Maintenance – Dairy

Reporting to: Plant Manager -Dairy

Location : Lusaka

JOB SUMMARY/ DESIRED QUALIFICATION AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Able to work independently.
• Join metal parts using heat, typically through welding techniques like arc, tig, gas, or resistance welding, while also repairing metal structures and following blueprints and specifications.
• You must be able to set up welding machines and equipment (both MIG and TIG); read and interpret blueprints to understand the product’s specifications.
• Weld and assemble metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment.
• Operate and maintain the machines that make and repair metal structures, equipment and machinery
• +3 to 5 years’ experience working in manufacturing industry.
• Must have a Diploma or Certificate in Welding or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
