Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving wholesale growth? Nelt Zambia is seeking a strategic and results-driven Wholesale Manager to lead wholesale operations in the assigned region. The ideal candidate will be responsi-ble for driving sales growth, managing key wholesale accounts, implementing business plans, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.

2. Competencies and Responsibilities

1.  Sales & Account Management:

  • Drive sales growth and achieve targets for wholesale accounts in the assigned region.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor regional business plans in alignment with company goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the wholesale portfolio.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key wholesale clients and decision-makers.

2. Operational & Strategic Planning:

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regional performance to recommend corrective actions.
  • Implement company policies and procedures across the region to ensure compliance.

3. Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and develop the regional sales team to achieve targets and improve competencies.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and training for team members.
  • Ensure high levels of collaboration and communication between regional teams and corporate departments.

4. Reporting & Monitoring:

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on regional sales performance, key accounts, and market trends.
  • Monitor KPIs, sales metrics, and account performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Participate in operational meetings with senior management to review progress and align strategies.

3. Assignments

1. Report to Sales Manager

  • 3–5 years’ experience in Wholesale, preferably within distribution or FMCG sectors.
  • Experience handling large wholesale accounts is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
