ICAP seeks to recruit for the following positions in Zambia

Job Title: District Clinical/Nurse Mentor (12)
Reports to: Regional Medical Advisors
Location: Various districts in Southern and Western Province
Position Summary
Working under the guidance of the deputy director, the District Clinical/Nurse Mentor will support capacity building activities to strengthen HIV/TB prevention, care and treatment in the assigned district/Region/zones in either Southern or Western province- Zambia

Major Responsibilities
• Coordinate the HIV/TB mentorship activities at DHO and assigned zones in line with the 95:95:95 targets.
• Lead the district or zonal data reviews for each step of the HIV testing and treatment with DHO and zonal and identify service delivery and stock management gaps and remedial measures
• Monitor achievement of district level targets and discuss results and remediation measures.
• Provide technical assistance to District and zonal staff to strengthen innovations to improve HIV case finding with a focus on index case strategy implementation including KYCHS
• Mentorship to DHO/Zones to improve district viral load coverage by supporting providers to request viral load test whenever indicated and real time update in clients’ records and interpretation of results.
• Coordinate the implementation of all related prevention services including cervical cancer screening, VMMC, PrEP etc.
• Perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor

Qualifications
• Diploma/degree Clinical Medicine or Nursing
• Master’s degree in public health a plus

Experience And Skills Required
• Fully registered with HPCZ or GNC as applicable with current year practicing license
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in the medical/nursing field
• At least 3 years’ experience in HIV clinical management and trained in provision of both adult and pediatric ART
• Training, mentorship and supervisory experience in HIV/TB prevention, and treatment services.
• A team player with ability to coordinate HIV/TB services at facility or district level
• Computer skills: Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience working in donor funded projects a plus
• Fluent English oral and written communication skills
