Reports To

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage premium, claims, commission, and treaty accounting processes.
• Maintain bordereaux, financial reconciliations, and client-money control records.
• Process settlements and manage Insurance Broking Account (IBA) and other fiduciary accounts.
• Liaise with brokers, clients, and reinsurers to resolve accounting and financial queries.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate recording of reinsurance-related payments.
• Support external audits and the preparation of regulatory financial reports for the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA).
• Ensure proper financial documentation and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years' reinsurance or insurance technical accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA), client-money management, and reinsurance accounting.
• Accounting qualification such as ZICA, ACCA, or CIMA is strongly preferred.
• Full Grade 12 certificate with credits in English and Mathematics.
