Overview

We are recruiting!

Our client in Solwezi, is looking for a Crane Technician to join their team for a job vacancy within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs on cranes.
  • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and service on all crane types.
  • Assist with engine diagnostics and repairs (preferred but not essential).
  • Complete accurate documentation: work reports, inspection reports, material requests, and timesheets.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Follow all company and client safety protocols.
  • Travel as needed (approx. 15–20%).

Required:

  • Valid Zambian driver’s licence.
  • Proven experience in electrical and hydraulic system diagnostics and repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred:

  • Experience with engine diagnostics and repairs.
