Bureau Veritas Zambia requires services of Sub-contractors. He/she will be responsible for managing the day- to- day inspections assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary Qualification
  • Grade 12 certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels; credit or better in Mathematics and English Language being a must.
  • Basics Computer skills
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Highly motivated and flexible
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of TIC’s (Testing, Inspection and Certification) will be an added advantage.
  • Must have a Valid driver’s license and a car is an added advantage-
  • Must have own means of mobility
  • Must have other/additional or primary economic activities/income sources
  • Own a laptop and cellphone
  • Possess a minimum Grade 12 qualification
  • Be permanently residing in the respective town/location
  • Number of candidates per area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As an Inspector, the candidate will conduct PSI & VOC inspections.
  • The geographical scope consists of: Zambia.
  • Carrying out pre-shipment and Verification of Conformity inspections on goods for export in accordance with BIVAC rules and procedures
  • Preparing inspections
  • Maintaining internal and external communication
  • Attending meetings in relation to the above inspections
  • Communication of commercial information
  • Keeping him/herself updated with BIVAC procedures, national and international regulations and publications related to GSIT inspections.
  • Management and administration of samples
  • Respects security guidelines of BV and safeguard personal security in the working environment
