Job Summary

The Human Resource Assistant will support the HR department in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role covers the entire employee lifecycle — from recruitment to offboarding — while serving as a key point of contact for HR-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to HR executives
  • Manage HR inbox, schedule meetings/interviews, and organize HR events
  • Update and maintain accurate employee records (physical & digital)
  • Support recruitment: job ads, resume screening, interviews, reference checks
  • Facilitate onboarding and new employee orientation
  • Assist with payroll processing, leave records, and benefits administration
  • Support HR policy implementation and compliance with labor laws
  • Handle employee inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Prepare HR activity reports (recruitment, staffing, training)
  • Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • 1–2 years' experience in HR or administration (advantage)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of HRIS or ATS is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and problem-solving ability
