Background
We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resource Officers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing daily HR functions, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and maintaining accurate employee records at our project sites in Monze, Kaoma and Sinazeze.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle statutory obligations including NAPSA, PAYE, NHIMA, and other deductions
- Manage the timely and accurate reporting of workplace accidents to the Worker's Compensation Fund Control Board, ensuring full compliance with all regulations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
- Maintain up-to-date employee records
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding and staff orientation processes
- Coordinate leave management and attendance tracking
- Support performance management and employee relations activities
- Prepare the monthly payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- NB: Must be willing to relocate to respective project sites
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience with at least two traceable references.
- Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)
- Proven experience in payroll processing and statutory submissions
- Strong understanding of Zambian labour laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
