Losacco & Company Limited is a farming company, located in the Eastern Province of Zambia, Vubwi District, about 85Kms from Chipata. The company is specialized in growing Macadamia crop with a planted area of about 730Ha land, employing 200 permanent employees and about 350 casual employees. The company has well knitted infrastructure like buildings, vehicles, roads, and dams ( for irrigation ), Processing Factory etc., The semi-processed crop is exported to various countries mainly to South Africa, Vietnam and Malawi for further processing.
The Company is now looking for a Human Resources Manager to support the business
Key aspects of the job
The HRM will be responsible for ensuring the following areas:
- - Strictly adhering to Labor regulations for farm workers and staff.
- - Employees’ recruitment processes are adhered to at all levels
- - Building effective communication system between Management and Employees
- -· Implementing HR and other Company Policies.
- - Ensure that employees’ leave days records are always updated.
- - Coordinating all disciplinary processes within time
- - Statutory payments such as NAPSA, NHIMA, PAYE and Workers’ Compensation are done before the due dates.
- - Coordinating all performance management and review activities
- - Monitoring and completing employees’ monthly payroll on time without any discrepancies
- - Building healthy relationship with government and local leadership officials
- - Coordinating all Health and Safety measures for Employees
- - Managing all employee relations activities and managing separations effectively.
