The company seeks to fill the following position:
Position: Insurance Services Representative
Department: Insurance Services
Job Outline
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional to join our Insurance Services Team. The successful candidate will support the placement of insurance business by coordinating with insurers and internal teams, reviewing policy documentation, and ensuring a smooth quotation and renewal process.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with insurers to obtain terms and support negotiations (the candidate should possess knowledge about general insurance products)
- Process insurance placements accurately and efficiently
- Communicate with internal departments to fulfil client requests
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers
- Ensure timely processing of all quotations and related documentation
- Review and verify insurance policy documents for accuracy
- Maintain and update relevant reports and documentation
Requirements
- Diploma in Insurance from a recognised institution (minimum requirement)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in underwriting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of attention to detail and organisational ability
- Solid understanding of insurance principles and practices
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
