Core Description
Responsible for the creation of websites and applications using web languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that allow users to access and interact with the website or application.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
• Create and maintain websites using HTML, JavaScript and CSS to bring concepts to life
• Develop and maintain the user interface
• Implement design on mobile websites
• Create tools that improve site interaction regardless of the browser
• Manage software workflows
• Adhere to SEO best practices
• Fix bugs and test for usability
• Optimize the user experience of websites and applications

Qualifications
NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Information Technology

Experience
A Minimum of 3 years’ experience. The experience must include relevant exposure to the ICT sector and Front-End development. Experience in graphic design applications (Adobe Illustrator, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery) is required.
