JOB DETAILS:
Background
This role is a two (2) year fixed-term contract reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager. The Technical Advisor will provide crucial support to farmers who are clients of Entrust, ensuring they receive expert advice and assistance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice, expertise, and support to farmers who are clients of Entrust.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and product-related queries
- Collect and analyse production data from farms
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Support sales teams with technical input and product information
- Identify new market opportunities and monitor industry trends
- Attend farmer days, customer meetings, and technical workshops
- Maintain accurate reports and farm visit documentation
- Provide regular feedback on product performance, claims, and market developments
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate or General Certificate of Education Equivalent.
- Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years in a similar field.
- Knowledge of Animal Feed.
- A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
