ICAP at Columbia University is an international, non-profit organization situated at the Columbia University in New York and works in over 30 countries, including Zambia. Together with our partners—Ministries of Health, large multilaterals, health care providers, and patients—we support comprehensive, family-focused HIV services and high-performing health system strengthening initiatives that provide quality and affordable health care. And by enhancing health information systems, improving quality, and developing human resources for health, we build capacity and efficiency in the world’s most challenging, resource-limited settings.

ICAP Zambia is seeking proposals from qualified and interested companies to register as suppliers in the categories listed below for the period 1st October 2022 to 30th September 2023.

REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible, applicants must attach the following documents to support their application:

1.            A detailed company profile with physical business address and contact details

2.            Certificate of Registration / Incorporation

3.            Valid Tax Registration Certification

4.            TPIN Registration Certificate

5.            Valid practicing license from Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) – (for insurance companies)

6.            At least three months’ latest bank statement

7.            Proof of past and current trade references (minimum of 3 references)

8.            Payment terms – preferably 14 – 30 days after delivery or service provision

9.            Payment methods – Telegraphic transfer preferred

10.          Application must clearly state the area of specialization and category to be registered under.

11.          Any other information relevant to product/service

Submission Procedure

Terms and Conditions

1.            Current Suppliers and contractors must re-apply. Existing suppliers who do not reapply will cease to be on ICAP suppliers list.

2.            Only successful organizations will be notified after preliminary evaluation and due diligence/site visits will be conducted by authorized ICAP staff.

3.            Interested vendors / suppliers should submit hard copies (with clearly labelled category) to the address below. No soft / emailed copies will be accepted.

4.            The closing date of submission of applications is Friday August 19, 2022, at 14:00 hours CAT. Any submissions made after this date will not be considered.
