JOB DETAILS:
Role Summary:
The Packaging Machine Operator will manage the wrapping and sealing process of bottled water cases using shrink wrap technology, ensuring neat packaging ready for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate shrink wrap or packaging machinery to seal bottled products
- Monitor heat settings, film feed, and sealing quality
- Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and cleanliness in the packaging area
- Conduct routine checks on machine functionality and packaging material supply
- Assist with manual packaging tasks when required
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience operating shrink wrap or packaging machinery
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Willingness to work long shifts in a physically demanding environment
- Strong adherence to safety and hygiene standards
