JOB DETAILS:

We are seeking to recruit 10 committed and energetic Chefs to join our growing hospitality team. This is an excellent opportunity for young individuals who are passionate about cooking and eager to grow their careers in the culinary industry.

Qualifications & skills

• Full Grade 12 Certificate with at least two distinctions, or a Certificate of Completion for 2024 school leavers
• Aged between 20 to 27 years
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and perform various tasks with efficiency
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen safety regulations
• Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and willingness to learn

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily food preparation and cooking activities
• Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs and kitchen supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with hygiene and safety standards
• Support the kitchen team in meal planning, storage, and inventory checks
